Deep in the Tulum jungle, the afternoon begins to soften.

Sunlight passes through the canopy and falls across sculptural wooden structures, tropical vegetation and tables hidden between the trees.

A DJ plays quietly above the jungle while a ceremonial figure releases incense into the warm air.
